Reflecting
Reflecting during the night as I were still on South Africa time that I am in New York, Sunday 3rd of January I did not know that I will be able to do this, so grateful and when the sun is out I can start with my Quest exploring New York, 2 things on my budget list Empire State Building and Ground Zero both.
Room with a view
Eating my delicious pumpkin muffin from Starbucks, ready to start my day with my first mission follow my Sister Ronel’s instruction to go and taste my first smoothie. The lady loved my hat and I love the smoothie that she prepared for me.
It was already chilly but I never expected that I will freeze to the bones later the afternoon. Next stop is The Flatiron Building, a link to the movies, also visited Madison Square Garden.

The laughter of children made me happy and if there was an open swing I would have swing in it. That was also on my bucket list and could tick it off in March 2021.
The Park
In the middle of the park this two were sitting and have a wonderful chat. Next up is the Empire State Building, I pop into the Starbucks on my way, needed something warm also eaten my first Madeleine Cakes, I had to show my vaccination certificate before I could sit down. The 2 ladies loved my hat and my accent.
The hat shop
I pass a hat shop and all of you that know me I love hats, I just went inside and met two beautiful men wearing their hats in the star. I have fitted 3 hats would have loved to buy on but with our currency in South Africa it was just too pricey.
On my way again I was talking to God saying I would love to see more but its cold and with my walking it is going to take to long and as I look up I see a flag at the back of Saul’s …..Red Big Busses wow I have met an incredible person, and soon I had my ticket for the Empire Sate Building and the bus
