I am on my way to New York, I am so excited a few dreams came true through God’s grace.
I wanted to visit the USA and the all just happened and fall into place with the help of my husband Petrus van Breda, sister Ronel Swardt and my brother in law Frikkie Swardt.
This include packing, COVID tests and requirements. Luckily I already had a USA Visa.
Flight Details
Within 2 days I was on my way to the USA via London to New York USA.
I want to thank my husband being on the phone and ensure all documents was completed online and sending me my boarding pass electronically for London to JFK, as they could not issue it at OR Tambo.
On both legs I had three seats to myself.

Heathrow Airport London
We arrived quite late, and I was only able to get a late supper at a very beautiful pink restaurant within terminal 3.
They had a Pink Vespa and allow me to sit on it and take some pictures.
I just ad time to eat my supper and drink my coffee before they close.
Most places closed early at the airport.
Layover
The Layover in London was a challenge. I had to wait about 14 hours form my next leg to JFK, New York. This was not a problem, because I want to make my dreams come true, and my support team, believe in me. Mine is the one with purple neck pillow.

Entering the USA during these times was a breeze. I believe it helped that some of the checks was done before hand.
I took a taxi to the hotel, which looked out on the Empire State building.
Conclusion
That concludes me leaving South Africa and entering the USA.
In my next post I will give details on my two days within New York and my experiences.
